As I experienced in my own work, using whiteboards is an effective way to conceptualize and communicate ideas towards information architecture and user interface spaces. A Flash application is often integrated within a webpage as an interface tool to display certain things. For instance, in my previous post I used a WordPress plugin to play an mp3 file, which makes use of Flash to present controls like play and stop to the user. So we need a way from outside to tell Flash what the url of this mp3 is. One way to do this is to use so called FlashVars, which can be integrated as parameter within the object tag that is used in HTML.

Today was my first acting as SP (simulation patient)with a couple of medical students in the framework of a seminar for occupational medicine. In order to be as authentic as possible I even dressed up a bit. The training is supported by AIXTRA, the interdisciplinary center for medical training.
