A Flash application is often integrated within a webpage as an interface tool to display certain things. For instance, in my previous post I used a WordPress plugin to play an mp3 file, which makes use of Flash to present controls like play and stop to the user. So we need a way from outside to tell Flash what the url of this mp3 is. One way to do this is to use so called FlashVars, which can be integrated as parameter within the object tag that is used in HTML.

I.A. Podcast is a very good podcast I came across recently about Information Architecture. Jeff Park gives regularly insights in the wide field of User Experience. During Easter vacation I found some time to listen to various podcats, while travelling by train, which is for me the best time to listen podcasts.
